Carla Madison Bench Dedication

Paul Weiss, husband of the late, great Carla Madison, former District 8 City Councilwoman who died last April of colon cancer, addresses a bench dedication ceremony in her honor held on the west steps of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science on April 23. Many attendees were decked in orange, Carla’s favorite color. One of her legacies is the District 8 Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social, which will be held June 1 from 6-9p at the City Park Pavilion in conjunction with the County Fair at City Park.
