It’s Kuhl To Recycle: All Shades Of The Rainbow
Dropping Off And Recycling Your Old Paint
Paint Care is a free paint recycling program discussed in these pages previously and worth highlighting again. This program is funded by a small fee charged when you purchase paint and allows you to bring leftover paint to a drop-off location. The closest collection point to Park Hill is Sherwin Williams at 5225 Leetsdale Dr.
There is now a Paint Care affiliated program in Denver. It’s called GreenSheen, and the company will pick up your old paint as long as you have containers that, in total, once held 10 gallons. This is an opportunity for you to join together with your friends and neighbors and gather up all your old cans of paint. Call 720-854-8722 for a free pickup.
Mark Kuhl is an environmental advocate who lives in Park Hill with his family. His handy tips and news about recycling household items appear every month in these pages.
