HENTZELL PARK UPDATE

The city’s proposed exchange of the Hentzell Park property for a Denver Public Schools building at 1330 Fox Street will be considered in mid-February by City Council’s Government and Finance Committee, which meets Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. In the swap, the Fox Street address would be used to house a domestic violence center while the Hentzell Park land (also known as Hampden Heights Open Space Area) would be used as the site of a new school.
