It’s Time To Cozy Up With A Book And Some Trivia
By Leslie Williams
Pauline Robinson Branch Library
Our annual Winter of Reading program is going on through Feb. 28. Here are the details for this year’s program:
• Participants must be age 17 and up.
• Visit any of our library locations and pick up a brochure.
• Complete five or more activities, return it, and select a prize.
• Prizes this year are a mug or a tote bag. They are available while supplies last.
• Participants must pick up their own prize.
To view the brochure online, go to denverlibrary.org/winterofreading. It is available in four languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic.
An exciting activity was added this year, a trivia walk. Visit one of four Denver parks and look for signs and try to answer the questions. There are 10 questions in total, and the same questions are in each park.
The following parks are hosting the trivia walk: Town Center Park, James A. Bible Park, Cheesman Park and Garfield Lake Park. Addresses for each park are in the brochure.
When you complete the trivia walk, you will be entered into a raffle drawing for a prize from Tattered Cover Book Store.
