Snow-Dusted Peaks

Lake Isabelle in the Indian Peaks Wilderness reflects a dusting of snow on the towering peaks on Oct. 11. The Indian Peaks Wilderness is along the Continental Divide between Boulder County to the east and Grand County to the west, and features phenomenal hiking. As the temperatures in the High Country drop and winter moves in, one can still enjoy a brisk hike outdoor, but it is important to be prepared for the conditions.
