Park Hill Girl Scout Troop 1750 Bridges at Royal Gorge
Park Hill Girl Scout Troop 1750 Bridges at Royal GorgeFive Park Hill Girl Scouts have bridged to the next level of scouting to become Senior Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts advance through the categories of Scouting through “bridging” ceremonies, and Troop 1750 thought it would be fun to commemorate this achievement by bridging, both literally and figuratively, at Colorado’s famous Royal Gorge Bridge. Most troop members have been active in scouting since attending Park Hill School, and are currently enrolled at East High School and Denver School of the Arts. As Cadette Girl Scouts, they earned the Silver Award through a troop service project at Higgins Plaza, a neighborhood residence for seniors. This summer Troop 1750 will travel to the International Girl Scout Center in London, the Pax Lodge, and also visit Dublin and Paris.
