It is time for some spring cleaning, neighbors. This is a chance to get out and meet up with folks down the block. That’s right, it’s time to take it to the alley.
Greater Park Hill Community, Inc. is planning an old fashioned Alley Clean-Up day on Saturday, June 5 to help kick off the Park Hill the Beautiful Campaign. Here are a few details;
Who: You and neighbors on each side of your alley if you have one. If not, commit to cleaning the curbs, sidewalks and streets in front of your house.
What: It’s been a long winter inside. Get outside with rakes and brooms in hand, to pick up a year’s worth of alley stuff that has gathered along fences.
When: Saturday June 5, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: In your alley all over Park Hill, between Colorado Boulevard and Quebec Street, from Smith Road to Colfax.
Why: For Park Hill the Beautiful, we are using this effort to give our neighborhood a solid Spring cleaning! To help rid the bad ju-ju of the past year.
The week of June 7 marks the city’s next large item pick-up throughout the neighborhood, so the timing is perfect to get our neighborhood sparkling clean and get the accumulated trash hauled away. Check out the June issue of the newspaper for more from your Park Hill the Beautiful Crew, in preparation of the Great Alley Clean-Up of 2021 and the rollout of the Park Hill the Beautiful Campaign.
