EXTRA! EXTRA! Help Spread The Words Around!

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you receive this newspaper on your doorstep, thank a volunteer.
Each month, Block Workers donate their time to share the Greater Park Hill News with their neighbors. There are no subscriptions to our community newspaper. The distribution of 14,000 papers each month is largely performed by volunteers.
That brings us to you, I hope. We are currently seeking more Block Workers. It’s a great way to get a little exercise and to get to know the people on your block.
The time commitment for a Block Worker is about 20 minutes per month. Here’s how it works:
A delivery person will drop off a bundle of papers on your doorstep on or around the first of each month. You then take the newspapers and walk around the block, leaving a copy on each doorstep. Done.
We are also looking for volunteers to adopt a block or volunteer to deliver papers to a nearby block that does not have a Block Worker. Our paper is important to our community and with your help, we can expand distribution.
Want to do more? We are also looking for volunteer Bundlers to assist with preparation for readying the issue for Block Worker distribution. One morning per month, volunteers are needed to assist with bundling newspapers from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Greater Park Hill Office, at 2823 Fairfax St. The dates vary, but the next bundling session is on Thursday, July 31.
Contact Newspaper Manager Melissa Davis, if you would like to volunteer to become a Block Worker, a Bundler – or both, at newspaper@greaterparkhill.org or 720-287-0442 (voicemail).
