Park Hill Home Tour & Street Fair Update
We are still waiting on the Broncos to decide the date of the 35th Annual Park Hill Home Tour and Street Fair, so hang tight! The 2013-14 Broncos season schedule comes out April 17, and we’ll have our date just shortly thereafter. We are in the process of selecting homes, so if you’d like to nominate yourself, a neighbor or another house you’ve been dying to see, please contact Roberta Locke at robertalocke@aol.com. Our next home tour meeting will be April 18, 6:30 p.m., at the GPHC community center at 2823 Fairfax. Come, get involved in this community building and fundraising event. We can always use more people, particularly with the kids’ activities and publicity. It’s a great way to meet new neighbors and establish a deep connection with the neighborhood.
The Street Fair, with Kate Sultan at its helm, will be bigger and better than ever! In addition to the wonderful vendors we usually have, Kate will be bringing in more vendors who have products and services specific to older homes. We already have several food vendors signed up and expect to have a wide variety of culinary offerings. We have taken to heart the comments we received in response to our vendor survey last year and will be making some changes in an effort to be more accommodating to the vendors and to all who visit the Street Fair. Please contact Kate Sultan at krsultan@comcast.net for more information or to reserve a space. Early registrants will once again receive a discount on the fee.
