Retirement? Think Again
Your most important work may begin after you retire! Come learn about the Ignatian Volunteer Corps on Monday, Aug. 14 at the Park Hill Library meeting room, at Montview Boulevard and Dexter Street, beginning at 10:30 am. Ignatian Volunteers are men and women in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who serve at a local agency for one to two days a week for 10 months of the year. In addition to weekly service, Ignatian volunteers come together monthly to talk about their service experiences and reflect with one another. Contact Erin Benson at ebenson@ivcusa.org if you are unable to come to the meeting but would like to learn more.
