Colfax Corridor Connections Needs Your Input
Because travel on the East Colfax corridor is expected to increase by up to 30 percent in the next decade, Denver Public Works Policy and Planning has created Colfax Corridor Connections to analyze transit and multi-modal options for the avenue from I-25 on the west to I-225 on the east, and a few blocks to the north and south. The $3 million project, which kicked off in late August, is funded with a $2 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration and $1 million from the City and County of Denver. The first public comment meetings took place in October, and public comments are continually accepted online. For more information, visit colfaxcorridorconnections.com.
