American Gothic, Park Hill Style
Yet another parody of the most famous farm couple in the world. They’ve planted their pitchfork in the alley at 5800 E. 22nd Avenue. Alley art is abundant throughout Park Hill. Every year, more or less, an alley art contest is held to highlight and honor the best, weirdest, and most creative artwork to pop up in alleyways throughout the ‘hood. Stay tuned to these pages in months to come for information about the next contest. Meanwhile, this particular piece of alley art was created by Ann Cohen and her neighbor George Tague; photo
