The 2013 GPHC Annual Meeting featured a DMNS keynote, awards and community pride
The 2013 GPHC Annual Meeting was held at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s Leprino Family Atrium. The celebratory event included award presentations to the Denver Police District 2 Department, to Community of Caring recipients and to the Babbs winner. Elections were also held for Districts 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 and three of the six At-Large seats.

Becky Richardson, Robyn Fishman (GPHC Executive Director) and Pam Washington are the Greater Park Hill Community, Inc.’s food pantry team. Richardson and Washington volunteer every single week.

Outgoing Chair LeAnn Anderson received a Community of Caring award for her hard work over the past year as the Greater Park Hill Community, Inc. chair.
District 10 representative Shannon O’Connell received a Community of Caring award for her efforts in maintaining the community garden and for organizing the first annual GPHC Evening of the Arts.
Past Chair Heather Shockey received a Community of Caring award for her service to the Greater Park Hill Community, Inc., including serving a two-year term as chair.
Dave Felice received a Community of Caring award for his community involvement and efforts in keeping Park Hill informed.
Pam and Jack Farrar received a Community of Caring award for their nearly 40 years of service to the Greater Park Hill Community, Inc.
Bridget Coughlin, Vice President of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, provided the keynote addresses which highlighted the Museum’s addition and brain development in early childhood.
