It’s A Landmark

News and Opinion

In January the Denver City Council approved this striking Spanish Eclectic-style home at 6400 Montview Blvd. as Denver’s 352nd local landmark. The house was designed and constructed in 1936 by noted architect J. Roger Musick and master builder Harry M. Bitman. It’s one of only a few Spanish Eclectics in Park Hill, with an asymmetrical façade, stucco cladding with decorative brick, a tile roof with multiple levels and an elaborate chimney. The home’s current owner, Rebecca Rogers, submitted the application, which includes an extensively detailed background and description of the remarkable home. The application can be read at tinyurl.com/DenverLandmark
