Zion Senior Center After Construction (Rob Santoro)Volunteers from the to Rebuilding Together Metro Denver and their partner organizations pitched in on January 12th to replace more than 5,000 feet of carpet and put a fresh coat of paint on interior walls at the Zion Senior Center at 5151 E. 33rd Ave. Funding for the project came from the Global Business Travel Association and the Rocky Mountain Business Travel Association. Work started last summer when the organizations replaced floor coverings, repaired plumbing, worked on electrical issues, painted and completed yard work projects. Zion had not previously been updated since it opened in 1978.
