Babbs Award Nominations Open
Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Babbs Award for Community Service. In honor of former Park Hill United Methodist pastor, J. Carlton Babbs, every year an award is given in his name to a man or woman who has made outstanding contributions to the Greater Park Hill neighborhood. The 37th presentation of the award will be made at GPHC’s annual meeting, on Thursday, Oct. 6. The nomination committee will accept nominees through Tuesday, Sept. 23. Identify your nominee, their address, phone number and/or email and the reasons you have for nominating them. Your name and phone number is requested in case we need to follow up. You may mail or drop off your nomination to 2823 Fairfax St. or email it to director@greaterparkhill.org Thank you for taking time to recognize leaders in your community.
Board members and officers will also be elected during the Oct. 6 annual meeting of Greater Park Hill Community, Inc.
