Record Early Signups for Park Hill’s 4th of July Parade
Float Contest Makes This Year’s Parade More Fun and Exciting
Signups for the third annual Park Hill 4th of July Parade are booming according to Justin Bresler, parade organizer. “We’ve had nearly 20 groups register already, far ahead of the last two years,” said Bresler. “That just tells me how excited the neighborhood is for this year’s event and how much fun it’s going to be, whether someone wants to march or just watch.”
How about a float contest? Nothing makes a parade more exciting than a good float. And nothing makes an unforgettable parade like a whole bunch of them, from groups all over the neighborhood, with awards in several categories. So start getting your group together and let’s see who can come up with: the best design, the most patriotic, and the silliest float. The parade organizers are asking for neighborhood input on the award categories, so submit your ideas on the parade Facebook page at www.facebook.com/parkhillparade. Final categories will be announced in a few weeks so you can start building!
No matter if you’re building a float, decorating bikes or just marching, be sure to register your entry. Registrations can be submitted on the parade website at www.parkhillparade.org. Questions can be sent to parkhillparade@gmail.com. If you are interested in sponsoring (sponsorships are just $100) contact Dee Ciancio at dee@deeciancio.com.
See you on the 4th, Park Hill!
