Pipeline Replacement Causing Concern
Xcel Energy continues its partnership with Q3 Contracting to replace nearly 100 natural gas linear miles of pipeline in the metro area. However, there have been concerns throughout Park Hill, particularly in the southwest, that Xcel has not done its best to coordinate with the city – in some cases ripping up streets that have recently been paved in order to replace pipeline.
Councilman Albus Brooks is encouraging neighbors to contact Xcel to register their concerns.
Xcel’s Accelerated Gas Main Replacement Project can be reached at infocolorado@xcelenergy.com. Q3 also has a representative available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 303-996-3544 to discuss concerns or to answer any questions.
