Your Passport To New Worlds
The My Denver Card just got fancier. In addition to getting access to the city’s 23 recreation centers and 29 pools, and being a library card for youth ages 5-18, the card now gives youth and their families discounted admission to many of Denver’s cultural institutions.
In Greater Park Hill, the Hiawatha Davis Recreation Center, at 3334 Holly St., is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parents may bring in identification, proof of guardianship and residency to get a printed card. Registration may also be done online, however, a child’s photo is taken for the new card, and so the card must be picked up at the recreation center.
The Hiawatha Davis Recreation Center has an indoor heated pool, an indoor walking track, and a very popular Silver Sneakers program. Silver Sneakers promotes the health and well being of active older adults in the community.
Once you get My Denver card, visit one of your neighborhood libraries to sync your card to get library privileges!
