GPHC News: November 2012
Blockworker Coordinator Needed
After seven years in the position, Ann Long is stepping down as Blockworker Coordinator at the end of December. The volunteer opportunity requires a commitment of about 20 hours a month. The job is to maintain an active block worker for each of the 516 residential blocks in Park Hill and coordinate the newspaper bundling and delivery. The benefit of this position is meeting so many people, said Long. “You feel very connected to this large neighborhood and what is going on here.” Those interested in filling the position should contact Bernadette Kelly at gphc@ecentral.com or 303-388-0918.
