Nature Play
Nature Play opened on Sept. 10 in City Park and it’s an instant hit. The four-acre nature area includes trails, rock formations, carved wooden benches, swings, slides and a climbable beaver dam structure. A rocky stream runs through it, complete with native plants and trees. Nature Play is a joint effort between the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Denver Parks Department. It’s just southwest of the museum and is free and open to the public year-round. Photos by Cara DeGette
