Inspired By Volunteers
Thanks For All The Work You Do
By Sierra Fleenor
Executive Director, GPHC
What a joy for my first article as the new Executive Director of GPHC to be one of gratitude. So many people make the work we carry out possible, from block workers to newspaper bundlers to food pantry volunteers to donors. Neither our award-winning monthly newspaper nor our food pantry providing ongoing nutritional supplementation to hundreds of our most vulnerable neighbors would be possible if it were not for each and every one of you.
If you are as inspired by our volunteers and donors as I am and would like more information, please visit our website at greaterparkhill.org or contact me at director@greaterparkhill.org or 303-388-0918. Feel free to also stop by during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. -3 p.m. at 2823 Fairfax Street. We are always welcoming new volunteers and accepting donations.
I would be remiss not to thank the GPHC board, our president Tracey MacDermott, and our outgoing Executive Director Rebecca Born for their leadership, oversight, and dedication to making Greater Park Hill an active and engaged community.
I’d like to extend a special thank you to the volunteers and donors listed below who helped out or donated mid-December to mid-January. We are so grateful for your donation of time and goods that keep our newspaper running, our pantry doors open, and our families in need stocked with needed supplies.
