Grateful For Our Neighborhood

The end of the year always makes me extra grateful for this wonderful community. You all are so generous in November and December and it shows! Truly, thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, spread the word, gave us a pat on the back, sent a kind note, or supported our work in myriad ways in 2021.
In November, small groups of hard-working volunteers helped us organize, build, pack and distribute more than 300 food boxes for Thanksgiving. We’ll be providing an update in January with additional details.
In the meantime, a special thank you to a handful of organizations who contributed sizable donations and organized food drives for us: Anytime Fitness Mayfair-Park Hill, Bounce Gymnastics, Dank Dispensary, HM Capital/Park Hill Commons, Mayfair Liquors, Messiah Community Church, Montview Community Preschool, Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, Nestman Orthodontics, Parkview on Fairfax, Tables Restaurant, and the Park Hill Realtors group. And of course we can’t forget to mention Cake Crumbs Bakery and Café and the Park Hill Branch of Denver Public Library, who collect food donations for us year-round.
Now it’s time to change gears and join your fellow Coloradans in some online philanthropy. Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, Dec. 7. Nonprofits across Colorado will be promoting giving campaigns as part of the statewide effort. Head to ColoradoGives.org and search for all of your favorite Colorado nonprofits. You can even schedule your donations in advance. And, if you feel so inclined, we’d love it if you’d consider Greater Park Hill Community for one final year-end gift.
Greater Park Hill Community’s operations are supported heavily by volunteers and almost entirely by donors. This is my last monthly quote for 2021 to express our gratitude for our donors and volunteers:
