GPHC Command Central: Nice To See You
In-Person Community Meetings To Resume June 2
By Lana Cordes
Executive Director, GPHC, Inc.
As life seems to finally be heading in the trajectory of “normal activities” we have decided it’s time to return to in-person meetings beginning with the monthly community meeting on June 2.
Please keep an eye on your email for further details as we finalize our plans. If you don’t currently receive our monthly email, head to greaterparkhill.org/about-us/contact-us and subscribe to our newsletter. This once-monthly e-blast provides the community meeting agenda, program updates, announcements, and pertinent notices from the City and County of Denver. Don’t do email? Give us a ring at the office, at 303-388-0918 after May 15 and we can provide details about the return to in-person meetings.
Event season is upon us, friends. We hope you’re ready. Park Hill Garden Walk tickets are on sale now! Purchase tickets online for pick-up at the event or visit one of our partner retail locations to purchase in person. A story about this year’s Garden Walk and its participating artists is on the next page, and additional details are at parkhillgardenwalk.org. Eight featured gardens, local artists, sunshine, and your friendly neighbors. It all goes down Sunday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Park Hill Community Yard Sale will be held Saturday, May 21 from 8 a.m. to noon. Register your own yard sale or use the handy map to plan your shopping route. Get all the details at greaterparkhill.org/events/yard-sale.
Novice gardeners who need a boost can apply for our Garden in a Box Giveaway, also taking place on Saturday, May 21. Pre-registration is required and there are a limited number of spaces. Learn more at greaterparkhill.org/food-programs/garden-in-a-box.
