Denver Old House Society Revamps Website, Needs Volunteers

The Denver Old House Society was founded in 2008 by GPHN Care & Feeding of Old Homes Columnist Elizabeth Wheeler. Now an all-volunteer organization, the DOHS has announced it does not plan to host the 2013 Old House Fair, which Park Hill resident and Modern Bungalow owner Kate Sultan chaired last year, unless it receives a heavy influx of new volunteers. Meanwhile, DOHS continues to be an invaluable resource for old home enthusiasts with a newly revamped website. The new site will offer online resources for old home owners and will be supported by an Advocacy Committee who will offer personal help in guiding individuals through red tape or organizing neighborhoods to save a wonderful old house.
