The Park Hill Garden Walk Was A Huge Success

The Park Hill Garden Walk committee would like to thank all the people who helped make the June 24 event a big success. We are thrilled to report that we had a major increase in ticket sales from last year. So, we would like to thank all the people who attended this year.

There are a lot of people working behind the scenes who make this event possible each year. This starts with the committee, comprised of eight individuals who do this out of their love and commitment to the Park Hill community.  Their dedication to this event has no boundaries. In fact, they have already started working to recruit gardens for next year.

The Gardeners: This year the families of nine gardens generously opened up their private sanctuaries for all to enjoy. Our tenth garden on tour this year was The Denver Urban Gardens at Park Hill Elementary. Everyone’s work and commitment to the success of the Garden Walk is greatly appreciated. Not only do we want to thank them for their participation, but for keeping Park Hill a beautiful community.

The Artists: Twenty different artists worked their magic at the garden locations.  Their talent and creativity was evident in each setting. Many of these artists have participated in the Garden Walk for years. Thank you for your support whether this was your first year or 18th year of involvement.

The Volunteers: About 40 volunteers helped us the day of the event, taking tickets, answering questions and directing people through their exploration of the gardens. Thank you for your time and dedication.

The Sponsors: A big thank you to all the Garden Walk sponsors. Some have been with us from the beginning and others are new to the party. Our sponsors’ generosity goes well beyond the Garden Walk. They consistently support an array of programs and events in our community. Please show your support of these retail partners by taking your business to them in the future.

Everyone Else: The people from the Park Hill Library, the Greater Park Hill Community and the Greater Park Hill News work with us year after year to make the Garden Walk a success. Thanks to each of you for your time, commitment and continued support.
