    Lynn,
You are one of the strongest advocates for real education improvement in our community. You not only understand the invalid assumptions behind the so-called reform movement–that more testing results in more learning–but also the convoluted politics, as well as the moneied intertests driving the current success of those reformers. Thank you for giving voice to those such as Mary Titus Sam, Eve Cohen and Roger Kilgore who have first-hand experience of the harmful effects of the policies currently driving DPS. It is only through education that voters will understand what has happened to public education and support those who wish to lift up neighborhood schools.
